Health Projects

Mother & Infant Foundation (formerly Mission India Foundation) has the solo mission: Reach out to the kids with vaccines that they otherwise would not have access to! Reaching out to the Unreached is our motto. “One Vaccine at a time: One Kid at a time” keeps us running forward.

Mother & Infant Foundation focuses on newer vaccines that the local health authorities do not provide under their schedule. Such vaccines are called Newer and Under-utilized Vaccines (NUVIs) by World Health Organization (WHO). We give such vaccines that are recommended by Indian Academy of Pediatrics and WHO for Indian population.

We operate from our facility which we call Vaccine Center (VC). This is the place where we store vaccines under optimal temperature conditions and provide to the kids.

2010: We started with MMR vaccine. 4000 doses of the vaccine were administered.

2011: We expanded our stock, Mother & Infant Foundation was able to reach out to the public with more than 7000 doses of vaccines like Hepatitis B and Typhoid.

2012: Our Vaccine Center has the provision of supplying vaccines like MMR, Hepatitis B and Typhoid to children and teenagers. We hope to reach 16000 doses of vaccines.

Where: Narnaul area of Southern Haryana. Narnaul is located about 150 Kilometers (approx 94 miles) from New Delhi, the Capital of India.

Target Population: Children and Teens aged between 1-18 years from poor socio-economic strata.

Model: Vaccine Center (VC) is the pivot of our operations. Vaccine Center is typically located within a medical facility (Clinic or Nursing Home of the partnering doctor) where qualified team of Mother & Infant Foundation provides the shots.

The VC runs 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday.

We have plans to expand our operations in other geographical areas of India as we consolidate our resources.
