Mission Statement
The problem:
Disparities exist in Childhood Immunization (Vaccination) coverage in developing countries. In India, many of the common vaccines (example: DPT vaccine, Polio vaccine) are provided under Universal Immunization Program (UIP), but there are several others (example: Vaccine against Chickenpox [Varicella], Pneumococcal infection) that are not covered under this Program.
Our Mission:
- To provide access to the vaccines that the kids need to prevent diseases: making them available free of cost or at highly subsidized rates because we believe that Vaccination is a childhood right for each and every kid!
- Health Education: about the importance of these vaccines.
Our Approach:
Currently we are engaged in a MMR (Measles Mumps Rubella) Vaccination Project in Narnaul area of Haryana, India. Children from poor socio-economic strata are provided the vaccine free of cost.
